Turbotax 2021 - Amended Return efile gives error "unable to locate attachment at /attachment/Form7203.pdf"

Hello,

I recently eFiles with TT 2021 without any issue and my form 7203 was part of that.   I needed to make a correction to income on my 2021 federal return and I easily did so in TT, but it will not efile as it gets to the last step trying to transmit the federal return and it gives the error"unable to locate attachment at /attachment/Form7203.pdf"

I checked forms mode and my form 7203 is still there, tried many times, updated to the latest, closed and reopened software, and always the same error.   Last I tried manually deleting the form 7203 and then clicked through and recreated it and it still gave the same error: "unable to locate attachment at /attachment/Form7203.pdf"

First was the original return fully processed ... do not file an amended return until it has been fully processed and the original refund is in hand or the original balance due has been paid.

Next, sometimes an amended return cannot be efiled no matter what ... you may need to print, ink sign and mail it in.

Is 7203 changing due to your amendment ?

If NO, it is not required, delete the Form 7203.
