Yes that is the NEW postcard size 1040. Under the new tax laws, there are no more simple Form 1040EZ or 1040A's. Everything goes on a little Form 1040 that has six extra "schedules" with it.
The new 1040 is 2 half pages but now print on 1 sheet with the Signature line in the Middle.
Is this what it looks like?

Some of these answers are so beyond ridiculous. I had the same problem hopefully yours is the same. This is a technical problem that has nothing to do with whatever format whatever form is so these answers DONT GIVE ANY HELP.
The answer is:
MAKE SURE when you're printing, in "page size & handling" click on FIT ! Don't let it on Actual size because our IRS is an organization that somehow uses the weirdest format, different than the universal LETTER format used worldwide. You'd think "Actual" size would be the size of letter document but apparently it comes out on 2,3 pages when printing.
This is a new forum layout. Some posts that have June 2019 dates are really older posts from the old forum that got moved over. So they might be for prior years and not current info. When they migrated over the dates got changed to June 2019. And the screen shots got deleted.
Last year for 2018 tax returns the 1040 was 2 half pages but printed on 1 sheet. In 2019 the IRS changed the 1040 again and now it prints on 2 pages.
