Smh my daughter is only 8 months i can get her medical records proving that i'm her guardian but i also claimed my 8 year old nephew and my address isn't on any of his school records its only on some of his medical records so I may have to take him off...i asked if my sister could write a letter and we have it notarized but they said hand written latters were not acceptable @mike202525

I'm going through the exact same . Everyone else has theirs by now but me - & all by the same person who filed my taxes . It's my son - what do they need , my pictures from hospital with him hanging out of me while I push or what like seriously ... This is crazy . I don't owe anything -that can't be it . The only thing I can think of based on comments is birth certificate for my son ? Or proof of the work I did ? Idk but at this point , I've already had to verify my identification and now this ... It'll be the end of the year at this rate IF it even happens at all !!!!

@mike202525  Well I figured out what was going on - apparently something from 2015 has come up and bit me after all these years . No mail no nothing .. Taking my WHOLE return . Originally they sent this 151 1424 code  needing my sons birthday certificate . While on the phone she mentions me owing - This can't be what would I owe ... after being on hold 45 mins to talk to her 15 , I was then transferred and on hold another 30 - just to find out 5.5k has built up to 8.4k and rising and that when proof of my son is verified , my return will go towards this ridiculous fee. I claimed a roommates kids with her permission as she was incarcerated. So glad I got away from them but no proof I had right to claim - leaving me to pay this ridiculous fee . Beyond pissed . All the best to you . Letters won't be sent out for a couple weeks so everything is on a standstill right now . Good luck .

Nothing yet faxed my son death certificate lease Bill's day Bill's and still nothing.... called today (tax paper advocate) and he hasn't summited anything yet. Was told he be summiting the paper work tomorrow

No info here.  They got our faxed info from Feb 25th on April 1st.  What the hell.  No other info.  Maybe by the end of the month she said.  I need it now.

I sent my documents on 2/27 and received a letter today that I should hear back by SEPTEMBER 5th, either by receiving the refund in my account if allowed or by receiving another detailed letter of disallowed.
