I filed my 2012 taxes on time in 2013, but need to amend the 2012 taxes. Is it too late?

To file for a tax refund? Yes. The 2012 return had to be filled on or before April 15, 2016 for a tax refund.

Some states have longer Statutes of Limitations for State tax refunds.
