Solved: The status is from your original return. Amended returns...

Just filed an amended return. After payment it said I needed to mail, so I printed and have ready to mail. However, the status indicated accepted by FED and State. Little confused on if I need to mail?

The status is from your original return. Amended returns need to be filed by mail and are not accepted or rejected, just received.

The status is from your original return. Amended returns need to be filed by mail and are not accepted or rejected, just received.

Amending a 2025 return. Have applied the new refund to 2026. The refund amount did not go to zero and still shows as refundable to me.
