I also got a 4464c letter from the irs my return was a simple one filed single and now their checking me out ive never had a problem before in my life with my taxes why now

I called the national TA number the other day to inquire about hardship which I did not think we would which was confirmed. However, the rep was nice and answered some of my questions,  and agreed that a lot of people are having problems this year and often for no reason.

I asked why our wage transcript would be blank, and she said it was mostly likely due to an employr/wages not verified. I thought this was odd b/c we filed w/ TT so our W2 info was submitted with our efiled return on 2/9/18.  Anyone else having similar issues? Our 4464c is dated 3/15/18.

beasley1969 iam same boat mine 60 day review is up may 20 I heard from other thread that theirs thousands of people of this letter having a issue and I'm from texas

Mine is up in May 20 also and I live in Texas as well I hope everyone that got the letter 4464c get their refund I heard a lot of people got this letter this year i think it's 1.5 million people if that it's true wow

i heard other threads that it takes about 4months to get your refund it could be around in July or even in November  that would suck the reason their under staffed

I just got a phone call that mines has been completed and I will receive my return in 3 weeks. If I don't receive it by no later then May 21st to call the IRS. At least that's some news.

@aalonzo2001 Did you have to provide any documentation or anything? did they say why it was oh hold?

Yes I asked why and they said they were verifying my income because it was a different amount from the year before. Im shaking my had like that's it? They said that verified with my employer and they verified my income and that i qualify for the EIC and CTC. Mines was completed on 4/28 I should be receiving my refund soon no later then May 21st. Thank God!

The office from Dallas, Texas I live in Dallas. I didn't recognize the number i thought it was a bill collection place..lol. I answered it anyway and it was a representative from the IRS. They asked for my name and said that my return was completed on April 28th when I called two weeks ago I left my number. They said I should be receiving a letter and my return will be DD no later then the 21st and if not to call them back.

I received a call last week on the April 27 from Dallas tx but didn't answer the phone because I was working couldn't I think they were trying too contact me but I called back but didn't answer I'm from texas from south texas Rio Grande valley  close too McAllen area but I hope they were contacting me for good news aalonzo2001

i called the irs today they told me that to wait the full 60 day review process by may21 if i haven't got my refund by that date if not i need to call back may22 so they can release my refund come on this year is been the worst tax season ever
