I used TurboTax this year to file my taxes, and opted to let them take out the Deluxe price from my return. They said I should receive an email from Green Dot Bank, and then the rest of the refund will be deposited into my bank via direct deposit. After filing and being accepted, the IRS claimed my refund was deposited April 23, 2025. TurboTax estimated I receive it on the 27th. However, I have neither an email from Green Dot Bank nor my refund. What are next steps I can take to elevate this issue and get it resolved?

If you requested to have the TurboTax account fees deducted from your federal tax refund, the IRS will send the refund to a third party processor to have the fees and the $40 service charge deducted. The third party processor will deduct the TurboTax fees plus the $40 service charge and then attempt to direct deposit the remaining refund balance into the account that you entered on your tax return.
