Tax return rejected, but did Credit Card

I tried to file my tax return electronically using Turbo Tax, and submitted my credit card information to pay the taxes.  However, I got a notice saying my tax return was rejected.  So, did my credit card payment go through, or was that rejected too????  The rejection notice did not say.  I need to know immediately.  Thanks!!!

When your return is rejected by the IRS or state, it is as if you never e-filed it or paid TurboTax. 

Payment was rejected when the return was rejected. So you can re-open your return, fix what needs to be fixed, and then e-file it as if for the first time.
