tax reports for previous years

Why can't Turbotax send tax returns directly to Tax Audit if I ask you to do so, rather having them sent to the customer and then the customer has to send them to  Tax Audit. It seems to be adding complexity to the tax situation?

You should contact Support (link below) during regular business hours for clarification.

However, I would suspect the procedure has something to do with privacy legislation.
