Hello. I have a question about the w4. After being married, do I have to change my w4 from “single” to “married”?

You don’t have to.  When I worked I always claimed Single to have more taken out.  The W4 doesn’t have to match your actual tax return.  When both people work their taxes can go up, more than just adding them separately.

As VolvoGirl said, you don't have to change it. But you might want to adjust your withholding for your new status. You can use the Tax Withholding Estimator on the IRS web site to figure out what you and your spouse should each put on your W-4 forms. It will show you how to adjust your withholding to get the approximate refund amount that you want.
