Tax Amendment

I filed my Taxes using TurboTax but that night I realized I left out one income.  So Turbotax allowed me to amend what I sent the day before.  Now I've received a refund of the original return (I thought that filing the Amendment so close would provide the IRS with both and that they would realize the error  and refund the lower correct amount).

So with the IRS automatically pull the overage out of the bank account provided on the refund or do I just need to wait for them to contact me to send them the amount I owe?
