We have not filed our 2019 taxes. We did file our 2018 taxes last year, on time, and paid what we owed, by a check sent to the IRS with our 1040 (our AGI for married was 111,000. We meet all the criteria to receive a payment. We have been trying to access the "Get My Payment" site. At first, I could not get past the first portal. After a few weeks, I was finally able to get past that and was at the "enter AGI" and "refund or amount due". I used my 2018 AGI and amount due, bank information, etc. I keep an error - "information not correct". I have my filed 2018 taxes and have the 1040 form in front of me with my AGI and "amount due", enter the routing number and bank account, confirming it, etc. I have tried once a day for a week, but NO luck. I keep getting an error message saying "incorrect information". How can I have an incorrect account number? The IRS does not know my account number because I did not have a direct deposit last year since I OWED. The AGI and amount owed is right there on my 1040!! No, I am not adding a dollar sign; no, I am not adding commas or extra zeros. NO, my amount due/owed was not "0" nor was it a negative number. So frustrating...

I'm very sorry to hear about this issue. It is possible that the IRS corrected a very minor data entry error/rounding error on your return (they will do that on their own) that resulted in a very slight change to your AGI. You may not have been notified of this by the IRS. To see what the IRS has on file for your 2018 AGI, you can pull your tax return transcript here.

Thank you for the suggestion. I would not have known about the change in amounts. I was able to access the IRS site, log-in and check my return. The IRS and my Turbo Tax one were different (small calculation error?) I entered the $ amounts the IRS had and it worked to finally get in. Now just waiting for payment status/direct deposit. No worries, I did get to add my checking account so it will be direct deposit.
Thank you very much!
