If I put in the wrong amount received for the first stimulus and my taxes are still pending, should I amend my taxes to show the corrected amount?

You do not need to amend your return due to any stimulus misstatements on your tax return.   The IRS has published they will review and catch those errors and notify you of any corrections.  See questions G2 and G3 here.

How can I clear a rejected tax return? I have fixed the errors, but it won't let me proceed to the payment method becsue it still shows my fed and state where rejected
