Still waiting to verify my identity

I’ve called precisely at 7am to try and verify identity, get the same dumb response that they’re too busy. I called the taxpayer assistance office, the same thing. Inflation is up, what am I supposed to do?

If you need to verify your identity, the only thing to do is keep trying. 

IRS is typically very busy this time of year, so hold times can be long.
