I live in Missouri, & have yet to receive my state refund! I was accepted on 2/5/19, is it taking everyone else that long!?

It's not fair to take so long for the state to process them. We have single parents and hard working families that have busted their butts all year long nd now we have to wait forever. I really don't see the justice in that.

There's not....they really just don't want to pay and are probably looking for any loophole to avoid doing so.

Now, because of the tornado here in Jeff City, employees of State of MO haven't had to work if they're non essential so it will be even longer before tax returns are refunded. Ugh!

I feel bad for everyone effected by the tornado, but now they’ll use that as yet another excuse on the delayed refunds. It may be Christmas before we see any refunds. Nobody can predict when a tornado will hit, but there’s no excusable reason why we shouldn’t already have our refunds back by now either. Most of us are around 4 months of waiting which is ridiculous! They’re going to owe so much extra in interest fees alone doing this to people. Wonder if we can just go the next 4-5 months without paying state taxes? That’s right, it’s against the law. That being said, they should have to issue our refunds within a realistic timeframe which in my opinion has been 2-3 times too long and we still don’t have them!

If at all possible ... adjust your withholding so you do not have a refund that way you never have to wait for it.

Critter#2, I wish I knew how to do that, but I don’t. Normally I don’t receive much of a refund, but this year it’s actually decent. That figures I know.

I did mine e filed 1/31 and still nothing. Every time I call I am unable to speak to someone. I didn't know about the interstate yahoo but come on they sure take their money in a hurry but don't pay out

It's the people that have a significant return that are being held I bet. They're looking for any reason at all to decrease it significantly or not have to pay it at all.

So I filed a claim 2 weeks ago with the attorney general which forwarded to the tax something of the DOR. Got a call to day from their complaint center stating the money was transferred to my account. 195 was taken from past court fines but I still got 350 back. The process worked for me hope it helps others.

I sent a complaint to the attorney general also so we will see if it puts a fire under their butts

I received a call Friday from my complaint as well but they only asked questions regarding my complaint. I'm due over $900 back, so I expect them to find any reason not to pay it.

13 weeks and still validating!!! 12 week wait? NOT TRUE!!!!!!  It I had to pay, they would have sent me a letter within 6 weeks collecting interest!!! RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!
