I made a mistake and put that I can not be claimed but I am claimed under my mother . How do I fix this so neither of us has a problem with the IRS ?

You will have to amend your tax return and pay any tax due. Your mother will need to mail in her tax return, she will not be able to efile the return this year.

No. Send them in separately.

yes. That is the only change you need to make. She can just mail in the return she has where she claimed you as a dependent.
