The question I was trying to get an answer to is;

Now that I filed my 2019 taxes and purchased the Deluxe product with Turbo Tax. I need to file my 2018 back taxes, do I have to pay for the download program and the deluxe product again to do my 2018 taxes???  what do I need to do???

Each tax year is a separate TurboTax program.  The TurboTax online editions are only for tax year 2019.  

To complete and file a 2018 tax return using TurboTax you will need to purchase, download and install on a personal computer one of the 2018 desktop editions from this website - https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/past-years-products/

A 2018 tax return can only be printed and mailed, it cannot be e-filed.

Yes, there is a separate TurboTax product for each year.  You must use TurboTax 2019 to prepare a 2019 tax return.  Same with 2018 and all prior years.  You need the 2018 software to file a 2018 return.  You need 2017 software if you need to file a 2017 tax return, etc.   TurboTax Online is only for the current year (2019) and no other years may be filed using the online software.

But if you pay for a product that includes having the option to speak to someone directly, and you don't get that what did you pay for?

If you order a dress online the includes alterations and then you get it to the cleaner to get it alterations done would you want your additional money back?
