I need to amend my 2016 Tax return, but TurboTax says that I've passed the deadline to do it online however I can do it with the desktop version. How do I continue?

I purchased the online services, but how do I get the Desktop version to get the amendment done?  I've clicked on the help link on the popup to "Amend a return", but it appears to be broken.

If you used the online editions to complete and file your tax return, then when you sign onto your online account and access the 2016 Timeline, under the section Some things you can do, you will need to download the amend software and the tax file - Download .tax file

If the link for the amend software is not functioning then go to this TurboTax website for the 2016 amend software - https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/cd-download/amend/ty16/
