Says check was sent February 28th but still not received

If a return hasn't came and it should have can I just refile,  It would be way quicker the IRS put a tracker on the money and said it could take anywhere from 90 to 120 days which is crazy I'm not waiting that long but I don't know if I'll  be getting in trouble for filing a second time hoping to correct  The issue and get my money
