For several years I have used the Sales Tax deduction because my state does not have a state income tax. In previous years I was always able to add Sales Taxes paid on big ticket items when selecting the Easy Guide option. This year, selecting the Easy guide method for Sales Taxes under Deductions and Credits, Turbo Tax walks me through a screen question or two but does not allow me an opportunity to enter my larger allowable expenditures like a car and a camper and home remodeling. Is this a Premier omission that will be fixed with an update?

No, there is not an issue pertaining to the entry of major items that I can find. The screenshots below, while not from the premier version, are from Home and business and should be the same. I have listed the screenshots in the order they appear:
As you say you did, I chose the EasyGuide method for the remainder of the entry screens. Pennsylvania is only used as an example as you did not specify your state of residence.
I answered yes at the bottom as I am sure you would have also.
There is an option, should more items be needing to be entered, to add to the above-shown list. Please look to see if this is the path you followed as it should be in Premier, the same as the Home and Business version. Once all entered, you will proceed to a summary page and then if all appears correct, clicking done will take you back to the deductions summary page.
