Hello,
I’m so hoping someone can answer my question regarding the $30 that I was charged for the refund advance. TurboTax states that would give up to $4000 for a refund advance. I opted to have my taxes go into my Credit Karma money account, which ended up charging me an extra $30 for the refund advanced portion.
I’m wondering, since I got rejected for the refund advance after I was told I was approved, do I get refunded my $30 that I had to pay for the refund advance?
it told me right after I did the refund advance request that I could not get the full 4000 that they could only give me $750. Well, I paid extra for that and I’m wondering if I can get that refunded as I didn’t even get approved for the refund advance.
if I would’ve known that, I was gonna be charged extra and not get any refund advance. I would’ve just put the money into my regular bank account.

Not sure where you are getting the idea that you were charged $30 for a refund advance. There is no fee for the advance, whether you get it or not. Are you confusing that with another offer ---- the one for "5 days early" if yo pay $25? You cannot choose both---so if you were trying to get the advance, you could not use the 5 day early offer.
How can I see my TurboTax fees?
I got charged an extra $30 for the refund advance to go into my Credit Karma account. When you sign up and at the very end of everything when you’re agreeing to receive your refund advance and you’re agreeing to put it into your Credit Karma money account, it states that it will charge an extra $30 for the money to be refunded into the Credit Karma money account and for receiving the refund advance in advance.
