I did my taxes on 3/7/2020 and it’s now 4/19/20 and irs.gov says it’s still processing and I need to wait for a date and it says read about tax info 152 or something. Please help me out. When will I get my refund. And one more thing is that my stimulous check says nothing or I’m not eligible because my refund jsnt processed. I don’t know what to do because when I call the irs telephone there is nobody working right now and it just repeats what the irs.gov website and app says. Thank you for your time… 🙏🏼 please help!!

TurboTax only gives the general IRS (most returns are processed within 21 days) date. The actual date is known only by the IRS. TurboTax also does not adjust the general date for anything on the tax return. TurboTax receives no feedback from the IRS after filing.

The IRS says most refunds will be issued within 21 days - some faster, some longer.

Each tax return is evaluated on it's own merits. There is no first-in-first-out. Two similar tax return submitted at the same time can have totally different processing times based on IRS criteria for examining tax returns that the IRS does not divulge.

Some returns will be held for ID verification or other verification. The IRS will send a letter if they require more information to process your tax return.

Ok well how does that affect the Covid 19 stimulus check. Because it says it can’t find any info determining my check. I have checked and I clearly  pass the guidelines for it. If my taxes are not processed then will my stimulus check not go through?

You will just have to wait until the tax return  is processed.
