To check the status of an e-filed return, open up your desktop product or log into your TurboTax Online Account. You can find your status within the TurboTax product.
If accepted by the IRS use the federal tax refund website to check the refund status - https://www.irs.gov/refunds
If accepted by the state use this TurboTax support FAQ to check the state tax refund status - https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1899433-how-do-i-track-my-state-refund

After the tax return has been Accepted by the IRS (meaning only that they received the return) it will be in the Processing mode until the tax refund has been Approved and then an Issue Date will be available on the IRS website.
See this IRS website for federal tax refund FAQ's - https://www.irs.gov/refunds/tax-season-refund-frequently-asked-questions

The IRS says 9 out of 10 filers who efile and choose direct deposit will get their Federal refunds within 21 days after being accepted. Some returns are processed fairly quickly, while others require additional processing due to specific items in the return. Some are pulled at random for more thorough investigation.

Did you efile, or did you choose to print and mail the return?  If you filed by mail, it can take about 6 weeks to get a Federal refund.

If you efiled, double-check to be sure the return was efiled successfully and accepted.
If you used Online TurboTax, you can sign into your Online Account and check the efile status at the Tax Home.

If that showed it was accepted, you can use the tool at the IRS website below to monitor the status of your Federal refund.
    https://www.irs.gov/Refunds

NOTE: When using that tool, use only the Federal refund amount, and not any total refund amount that includes a state refund.
The amount to use is on your Federal Form 1040, Line 21a.

If the IRS tool says it is still being processed, and if it's been longer than 21 days since an efiled return was accepted, we can tell you how to speak to a live agent at the IRS to see if they can tell you anything about the delay.

How did you choose to get your Federal refund--by direct deposit or check?

If you efiled, double-check to be sure the return was efiled successfully and accepted.

If the WMR says the refund has been sent, then we can tell you some things to check on.   In that case, we also need to know if you had any TurboTax fees that you chose to pay out of the Federal refund.   If you paid any fees out of your Federal refund, your funds go first to an intermediary bank where the fees are subtracted before going to your bank in a second direct deposit.   If you used that service, we can tell you how to check on it at the level of the intermediary companyu, but you need to first see what is showing at the IRS "Where's My Refund" tool.
