It will take 8-16 weeks after the bank rejects the ACH back to the IRS, before you get the paper check.

My own experience is closer to 2-4 weeks.

In my day, I've experienced as short as three weeks, and as long as 6 months. So when it comes to "how long", one is more accurate flipping a 50 sided coin and pick a number. 🙂
