Refund still processing

I e-filed back in February, 2-12-20 I received a text message the IRS accepted my federal taxes. As of today 3-29-20 I still haven't received the refund. I have called many numbers and have logged in many times to where is my refund.gov to only see it is still pending. I haven't done any amendments to hold this up extra long. The only difference with this year's taxes versus other years is solar panel rebate. Any suggestions

Thank you

Refund still processing

You are not alone.  The IRS is seriously backlogged due to all the extra stimulus filings, as well as a few million unprocessed 2019 returns left over from the COVID shutdown.  In addition, the Where's My Refund site has been erratic and unreliable.  But if TT told you the IRS Accepted your filing for processing, then the government has it.  (Approved is a later step, but TT receives no further updates once Accepted.)  Contacting the IRS will not help, and the IRS has implored taxpayers not to call them.  Lots of other folks are still waiting, so please continue to be patient.  Also see:

If you notice any questions on the forums here about their refund status either don’t have a response or have the generic response we all already know, TT and IRS don’t have any information that’s useful, I’m in the same boat
