I applied for a refund advance when I checked out after doing my taxes however, I can not seem to find any information on the refund advance anywhere in my account. My return was accepted on the 21st but I have not seen an email about the advance or a deposit. The only thing I do see is a refund processing fee. Have I done something wrong? How can I find out if I even actually applied for the advance?

Same. I just got off the phone with Century Bank and they said my application for the advance was still in the “prequalified” stage from underwriting. They had no information for me as to how long the final approval could take. Last year I received my advance within minutes of the IRS accepting my filing. This year, it seems they are waiting for your refund to move from “accepted” to “approved” in the “Where’s My Refund” tracker on IRS.gov.
Here’s the phone number I called: 1(888)679-8122
Call and see if you’re still in “prequalified” status.
Update us if you get any different information
Thank you, this is helpful. Did you get a notice by email at all? I haven’t gotten anything I don’t know if I’ve successfully applied or anything.
I haven’t gotten anything. Some people are saying, if you don’t see the Advance Consent forms on your tax pdf download, it means you weren’t approved. If I go to my 2023 return and download the PDF, I can see the CK consent forms from last year. Nothing from this year, so assuming I won’t get it. Oh well, at least it’s filed and accepted.
I spoke to turbotax a few hours ago and they said mine is still in stuck pre-qualification still. They TT rep said she's seen it take a week to get released but could not tell me a week from when acceptance date by IRS or filing date.
They are just saying anything at this point.
Those documents are in my download and still nothing - they told I'm stuck in pre-qualification and the rep has seen it take a week. Who knows but I'm EXTREMELY unhappy with the customer service experience and response to this issue from INTUIT as a whole because they own all of these companies. Their reps should be able to answer questions about ALL of the processes at CK TT or whatever else.
At least the documents are in your file. That’s a great sign. Let me know if anything changes!
I spoke with a rep earlier that said the prequalification stage lasts 48 hours. Hopefully, that’s accurate.
When I look in my documents I don’t see anything. It must mean I didn’t qualify. I saw that you’re supposed to get an email either way at least letting you know. This system is not very user friendly. They could at least give you some kind of answer so your not just in limbo trying to figure it out for yourself.
Mine has been in pre-qualification for almost a week. So yeah idk
How can you tell? Is the only way to tell to call?
Seriously?!? I talked to an “expert” this evening and he told me you’re only supposed to wait up to 48 hours. These people really don’t know anything.
Yes I spoke with them that's the only way to get a real answer or a make believe real answer
I was told that the first time I talked to someone, now it's the other **bleep**. I'm going to try again now and see what else they can come up with!
Let us know!!!
