I retired January 1, 2018. In March 2019 I Recieved a W-2C for 2017 with corected Boxes #3 and #4. Original W-2 had reported lower Social Security wages and lower Social Security tax withheld. Correct amounts have now been listed. I don't believe I need to amend my 2017 return. How do I notify the Social Security that my 2017 SS wages report was corrected and that my SS wages were higher than reported for 2017? This can mean more on my monthly SS check.

The employer submits the W-2C and SS gets that. You do not have to notify them but you can request a transcript of you employment history to be sure that they applied it. Since box 3 & 4 do not affect your tax return (unless they exceed the maximum amount for the year) then there is nothing for you to do.
Thanks for the quick reply. Is there a time frame that it takes for SS to make the adjustment to my employment history? The W-2C was reported in March 2019 and as of today the SS still shows the uncorrected SS wages.
