Turbo tax said I would get a refund of $1853. I paid my tax preparation fees up front. The refund I received was $1637. Does anyone know why that would be?

Federal and State come separately. The IRS will be mailing you a letter about the difference; they do not notify TT.
I live in a state that doesn’t have state income tax
I'm dealing with a similar situation, the IRS advised me on the where's my refund page that my EIC was incorrect by $300! Since Turbo tax calculated the information and I gave the correct information why am I getting less than what TurboTax still shows as being on its way to my bank account?
They may have changed your EIC if they changed something else. Like if they added more income.
Well it's listed as a mathematical error by the IRS. $300 is a lot of money. Especially when I pay for TurboTax's max coverage and peace of mind program....
