Rebate rec

I entered amount for the rebate recovery and shouldn’t have since we received the correct amount can I amend my return to correct this. As the IRS adjusted my refund and has me owing them $300.

No you do not have to amend since the IRS has already made the correction.   It sounds like you claimed the recovery rebate credit when you had already received the third stimulus, so the IRS reduced your refund.  The IRS will bill you for the amount you now owe.
