There could be mail coming but not showing up though right? I am just trying to be hopeful.
Say mailing refund
i would like to change my refund check to be direct deposit instead of mailing
@jenniferstoute Sorry--you cannot change it if you already filed your tax return.
Did you already e-file? If you did NOT e-file you can go to the FILE section and change how you want to receive your refund.
Once a return has been accepted by the IRS you cannot change how you want to receive your refund.
I am trying to see of my 1400 be deposit

Anyone else having this trouble says mailing on feb 24 but it was suppose to direct deposit?
The IRS explains the possible reasons why they mail out a paper check instead. Please see the information listed on the IRS website below:
"I requested a direct deposit refund. Why are you mailing it to me as a paper check?"
There are three possible reasons. They are as follows:
You may also reach out to the IRS directly: How do I contact the Internal Revenue Service (IRS)?
@Meg1004 Yes and I’ve never had an issue before. The only thing that has changed for me is that we filed our solar tax credit.
So it was mailed or direct deposited as it was suppose to be?
If you included your direct deposit information but the deposit was sent back to the IRS from your bank, the IRS will then send a check.
@Meg1004 I opted for direct deposit and have used the same account for over 10 years. This year when I checked my status it says my check is being mailed by 2/24. Nothing has changed with my refund any different than any other year besides our solar credit. I also called the bank and they don’t see a rejection. So I am at a loss as to why they are mailing it.
@MoniqueLO_ @What if the bank says it wasn’t rejected?
If your bank does not show any attempts of a deposit being made then you will need to contact the IRS. Please see How do I contact the Internal Revenue Service (IRS)? for more information, including the IRS phone number and hours of operation. You may want to try calling early in the morning since they get busier throughout the day.
