Tax Year 2020: Will our stimulus check load on our turbo tax card?

I make 30-40k a year and still have not received mine.

I entered into the IRS tool with no problems a little over a week ago.

I have no date yet on IRS page and still have not received the stimulus. "Higher-Earners" will get theres by Wednesday I'm guessing?

Ya let’s hope for the best

@Perilous

This is the schedule for paper checks, based upon income, per the Washington Post. May who entered their Direct Deposit information are still receiving checks anyway (for whatever reason):schedule.png

Tax Year 2020: Will our stimulus check load on our turbo tax card?

@Patrick73 I'm not sure how accurate that is because I make over 10,000 and already received my check and there are some people that I know who make less than that and haven't received a check yet

Tax Year 2020: Will our stimulus check load on our turbo tax card?

@Patrick73 So are you thinking that even though we entered our DD info, we're still going to get checks?

Tax Year 2020: Will our stimulus check load on our turbo tax card?

I'm honestly thinking most DD deposits will be done by Wednesday/Monday and any who entered the info will get it.

But let's hope for the best

I agree with that!

@Road2rn

If you didn't receive an advance/fees taken out, it's highly likely you were in the first wave regardless. Most of those people that didn't receive a DD (despite the system initially saying they would) received a check the next (earlier this) week. That seems to have been a general rule, although there are obvious exceptions.

@Perilous

I have no idea how credible of a source that Washington Post article will turn out to be/not to be. But it's pretty much the only real schedule anyone has offered; and based upon the first people who put used TurboTax, put their information in the system for DD, and received a check anyway, then I'd assume most will eventually receive a check instead of direct deposit.

I had fees taken out of my taxes (refund) from TT.

But I didnt take an advance

@Perilous

I'm in the same boat.

I had fees taken out, used a "Turbo Card", and entered my information on the first day that the "Get My Payment" portal was available. I've been communicating with several people who had the exact same apply to them, and all of us are still at "We'll update with a date when available".

For the record, I'd prefer that schedule not be correct, it means I won't get a check for some time yet. But at this point, any news is better than no news.

So I just checked the IRS site and now it is giving me a Direct Deposit date of April 30th.  We will see....
