Will need to file an amended return. I have already deleted the TurboTax program

I have filed and received my refund. My employer has just informed us that they made an error on our W2's for what amounts to a few weeks of salary.

We will be receiving amended W2's.

I have already removed the Turbo Tax program from my computer. ( I have the saved files of course).

Do I just re install the program to access my return to do the amended return. Also is the filing of the amended return free, or should I be sending the bill to my employer.

There is no charge for filing an amended return with TurboTax.  The amend function will not be available in TurboTax until late March.  When it is available your reinstalled software will have an amend option on it.  Just follow the directions in TurboTax to correc the W-2.  The W-2 should have the corrected box checked.  Go through the screens until you are done with the amend and then refile your returns.

You generally must file an amended return within three years of the date you filed the original return or within two years after the date you paid the tax, whichever is later.
