Tax Year Prior to 2020: Will my stimulus check get deposited in my turbo tax prepaid card account ??

@Tranjeremy78 - ALL cards are Greendot and No cards are SBTPG...  Greendot is a bank and SBTPG is not a bank.  The money needs to be on a card that is associated with a bank so that you are confident you are FDIC insured.  Look at the name in small print on the card,

The issue is that if the fees were netted out of the refund, it went through SBTPG.  I suspect creates a paper rebate and not DD. 

it's not the end resulting card that is the issue, it's the 'sausage maker' it went through to get to the card,

Im not shure 100 percent what your saying.but yes like you said greendot is a bank just like ive been saying.and yes it has a routing and account number and is a actual bank.and yes just like you said sbtg is not a bank like i said.thats why the money will be deposited threw on your green dot account.

Yes this is not a sbtg card people are making a problem out of nothing.this is a greendot card and its green dot bank.not santa barbara group bank.people are causing problems.just sit back and relax if it matches your green dot bank account with the info the irs has then thats where it is going

O i see what your saying but that was for taxes man they are a tax group.they only dealt with fees and taxes but now this is a stimulas check.they have nothing to do with it.it should eqsily be deposited onto you green dot bank sccount just like my work company has the routing and account number and my check gets deposited evrey week.stpg or whatever they are called have nothing to do with it now

Unfortunately Turbo tax has put us in a position where we will have to remain patient or more patient obviously they don’t care about customers they all give the same exact same answer. I would say to go with the answer green dot gave  to a customer  for now . And we will all find out what is true or not next week . we can all argue till our fingers fall off we obviously will not get a answer from turbo tax that will help . From my past experience  they will respond when everything is resolved  . So sit tight  I know the anxiety this brings but we will get thru this.

So let me get this straight! TurboTax has found a way to create a portal for non loyal TurboTax customers that are not filing taxes and are not using your turbo card to receive their money but yet you guys cannot figure out a way to help your loyal customers who filed through you guys and used the turbo card that you guys advertise for? So I am not going to receive my stimulus payment on my Turbo card is that correct? If so you guys have a lot of very upset customers who are telling everyone they know including themselves to never file through you again. If I do not receive my stimulus deposit on my Turbo card when other companies such as H&R Block and Jackson Hewitt are helping their customers and they have already started to receive them I will never use TurboTax again! This is beyond ridiculous this is a worldwide pandemic and you guys should be doing everything in your power to make sure that the people who used your services do not have to worry about where we are going to get our stimulus relief check!

Hello friend. I feel you! I get it. They all say something different but check it out to calm ur nerves. On ur return your DIRECT DEPOSIT info is the same as your TURBO DIRECT DEPOSIT FORM you would give to ssi, enployer, etc. It is a LEGIT bank account where i can receive my paycheck from work as well! With that being said I welcome you to take a deep breath and KNOW that anxiety sucksbut the money will hit that card! I'm out. Y'all are pretty sheepy.

T YOU. Please no more links.   IRS new portal is FOR NON FILERS ONLY!!! It’s not for US TURBO TAX F———- CUSTOMERS that have TT DEBIT that we choose. AND STILL NO REAL ANSWER!!!!   UNBELIEVABLE

SO.  ?     What about those hurting people out there that used Turbo Tax free edition.  THEY don’t have the option to see that info because TT  blocks it....  I feel bad for those JUST because they did their taxes for free w TT
