Even if you went through TPG, it was a one time authorization.  It was a separate form that got submitted.  If you look at your 1040 your banking information information is on there and that’s where the IRS gets your DD information from!

The Green Dot card isnt thru SB, its thru green dot bank. There is a card that's thru SB and that's why that says anyone that got it on a debit card thru SB will get a check.

@MinnesotaConnection  - what you wrote is my hypothesis as well.  TT fees netted from the refund had to go through SBPTG (so a check for the stimulus rebate), but if the TT fees were paid separate from the refund then NO SBPTG (so direct deposit for the rebate).

i agree 100% this is ridiculous  they have all of our information and were able to directly deposit our tax returns onto the turbo debit cards. i cant understand why there is a hold up on doing the exact same thing with our checks... the amount of time it is taking for them to just give us a flat out yes or no answer is completely unacceptable... not happy with turbotax and the IRS at all right now.

If you guys look at a copy of your completed 1040 on turbo tax, you will see what bank information the IRS has on file for you. If it matches the routing and account number on your turbo card, that's where your stimulus money is going, undoubtedly.

For anybody following this thread, Turbotax is the very reason that my family has been waiting 4 MONTHS for our tax return, and are STILL waiting. They screwed up big time, and now we (and many others) are suffering the consequences, but they still took their money from our bank account, so they don't care.

Do you people actually think they will give you an answer to your questions?? This company is a complete joke, so more than likely, you will get a paper check because they have NO CLUE what they are doing.

Well, they started going out yesterday and I still can't find an answer. Are we, or are we not getting the checks deposited into our Turbo Visa account, which our Return was direct deposited into?

Listen i have the turbocard issued by turbo tax.it has a account number and routing number.its a whole bank account.i still use the card for my direct deposit at work it even allows me to get paid early.i just looked at my tax return and its the same routing number and acc number associated with the card ive been using so there is no problem people.i dont understand your worry.if you have your turbo card and the bank acc associated with it which is green dot bank.and the routing numbers and acc number is whats on your tax form then it will be deposited on your card simple as that
