Why would'nt the IRS direct deposit the economic impact check if the turbo card dd info matches the dd info on the form? Am I missing something?

Like I said they should have had this already figured out. If the IRS can deposit my taxes on the card but not this then TurboTax/Greendot should be held accountable. I can not afford to wait 6 weeks or more for a paper check. If people have too they shouldn't use TurboTaxes business again. Teach them a lesson.

Yes @John001  the whole first half of this thread. Green Dot is a third party account that pretty much is giving you a prepaid visa card. it is a third party account which is causing all this uncertainty. Intuit is working on getting a straight answer

I went on the santa Barbara website.  It says if you were issued a turbo tax card the stimulus payment will NOT be deposited on it.

The odd part of that says for cards through Santa Barbara TPG.  Turbo Card is GreenDot.
