If you have filed a 2019 tax return and need to change or add your direct deposit information, see this IRS website - https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/economic-impact-payments-what-you-need-to-know
The IRS does not have my direct deposit information. What can I do?
In the coming weeks, Treasury plans to develop a web-based portal for individuals to provide their banking information to the IRS online, so that individuals can receive payments immediately as opposed to checks in the mail.

The new form to submit bank account information is live, but only for individuals meeting certain criteria.
This includes but is not limited to, persons not required to file taxes, persons who do not receive Social Security benefits, and persons who have not yet filed a 2019 return.
Additionally, later this month, but sometime before paper checks are scheduled to be sent, another portal will be live for individuals not meeting the criteria listed above.
For full details and links to the new portal limited to those not required to file or any other person not otherwise prohibited, please read carefully by clicking the link below.
