What does "Your tax return is still being processed. A refund date will be provided when available." Exactly mean?

How when I updated direct deposit on the 16 of April,with turbo. Now the portal says it will mailed next week. Seem like turbo tax was no help. Bunch of bull.......

 I tried calling Taxpayers advocates services but no answer. So i faxed them instead & that worked for me. Good luck)

I filed mine on the 15th also  It just got approved today. So, there is hope!  apparently they are being processed and approved. Supposed to be sent to bank on the 13th. I was starting to think it just wasn't going to happen, then today the status bar reappears and it said approved. Good luck to those still waiting! 🙂

I would like to know why my friend that owns a small business, filed her taxes on April 15th and received Federal,  State and Stimulus check in 2 weeks, when she hasn't filed her taxes since 2016! Mine got accepted on March 16th received my state 3 weeks ago to have someone hack into the bank I use and steal that plus more. 2000 they got now I really need my stimulus and taxes. I am a Single mom, that was making great money bartending since I haven't been able to work since March 12th I have had to use all of my savings and Emergency money. I live in New York State so getting unemployment is going about the same way so I am sinking in bills getting help from absolutely no one. Ready to give up.

I'm in the same situation but I file February 4 2020. IRS sent me a letter say that they're still progressing in formation. This happen to me last year and i received my refund 9 months later. I sill need to know what wrong this time!

My brother in Law is the same, My sister hasn't gotten hers either, ,  they both have gov. Card for their deposits... Don't know if you do too, maybe has to do with that. Also I guess if child support is owed, they can take it too. Money owed to the state for any reason it seems they're taking people's stimulus money! Sorry I didn't have better news.

I filed in February. I sent everything the IRS was asking for. The last thing I heard from them was they didnt need anything else from me and my 8 week waiting period was almost up, which was over a month ago... The last information they asked for the 2 w2's from my job.. I sent that in and called them a week later and they told me they didnt need anything else it's just a wait from now... I filed like feb 28th..

What number did u call because every number I called the automated service says due to covid 19 employees wasnt working and to use the tool.. They tool been saying the same thing since feb... "Still being processed.."
