Me the same thing. I made $24,906 last year. Why they have only $13,931 reported for SSA. The irs is playing and hurting us for no reason at all

I wish I could show you what I'm looking at and how I figured it out. I didn't notice at the time, but I'm the one who mailed my own stuff in. It's called a W3 transmittal of wage and tax statement and its to be filed with the Social Security Administration data operations center in Pennsylvania on or before January 31st 2019 with it has the W3 that the employer sends along with my and my ex-coworkers W2. When I spoke with the bookkeeper and I kept saying did you send it to the IRS she kept saying it doesn't go there it goes to the Social Security Administration and then to the IRS and I literally have the paperwork to prove it I just can't show it to you because I don't know how to contact you.

Yea and I just got off the phone with the ssa and they said that the irs reports ur earnings to them not the other way around. None of this is making sense

Mine was mailed and it's the one missing. The ones filed electronically are there and showing. That's my point. The SS and IRS are behind on getting it entered but they're telling us they didn't get it from the employer and that's why I'm under review .
