I wish I could show you what I'm looking at and how I figured it out. I didn't notice at the time, but I'm the one who mailed my own stuff in. It's called a W3 transmittal of wage and tax statement and its to be filed with the Social Security Administration data operations center in Pennsylvania on or before January 31st 2019 with it has the W3 that the employer sends along with my and my ex-coworkers W2. When I spoke with the bookkeeper and I kept saying did you send it to the IRS she kept saying it doesn't go there it goes to the Social Security Administration and then to the IRS and I literally have the paperwork to prove it I just can't show it to you because I don't know how to contact you.
