What does "Your tax return is still being processed. A refund date will be provided when available." Exactly mean?

I don't even care about politics but I never had any problems same simple tax return as past four years, now Biden is in office and IRS is horrible. I need my money refunded by Turbotax.

I don’t understand why people who claim EITC on their tax returns every year and claims the same person has to wait for their returns. The IRS holds people returns like it’s their money. There are people like me who really need theirs and they are BS..ing around. This has to STOP

I filed on the same day as well and  mines is saying the same thing, the IRS needs to get themselves together and release people’s money. Cause there are people like us who have children and bills and can’t afford to be behind on anything

You are wrong about Biden.  He's only been in for over a month!  I just got my tax return for last year last week!!  2020 was a horrible year and had nothing to do with Biden.  It's because the IRS shut down for 2 months during the pandemic and still is behind.  That's why tax returns are delayed.  I got both last years and this years in one day so yours will come.  The IRS tool does not work for Turbo Tax people.  When you get yours check it and it will still say processing!  I found out the hard way last year.  Good luck and hope you get it soon.

I filed mines February 9th I got mines back dont worry about the bars moving you'll probably get ur refund back before it move to the next bar

That’s thing there is no bars it just keep saying it’s being processed and I’m getting aggravated, like I said I filed on January 29th there is no excuse for them doing this to people

I filed April last year it was accepted and had do identity verification and received a 5071c letter which Ms verify identity i called and it passed I got my 1st stimulas sept.14 they r saying they mailed me another letter sept22. Which I never received I finally called me end Jan. A d they said didn't really see kitting wrong if either recieve a letter by April4 or my refund so I do t like too much longer..I received this year

I'm still not understanding this I submit it to W-2s and one child there should be no reason for them to hold my tax information

You have to just keep calling the IRS because that is what I did and eventually you will be able to talk to a real person. And when you do get through you will have to wait on hold between 15 and 30 minutes. Keep trying you will get to talk to someone. Good Luck

I received this years income tax but not last years I verified identity in aug. 6th. I called them and they said I should receive it before April 5th or id get a letter in mail. I do t understand why I got the 2nd refund before the first if they approve one why not the other. If someone can help me tell me what I should do I'd greatly appreciate it..Will they send it as check or direct deposit like 2nd one it was the same card on both..

I filed on feb.13th at 10pm and it was accepted i received my refund on march2.. it took mine til the 2nd week before it lighted up approved on wmr

Yes I talked to the IRS yesterday twice and got two different answers. The first time I talked to a really nice gentleman who said he did not see anything wrong with my tax return and then got cut-off and the second time I talked to a woman who said there was an error on my return that was caused on their end so I asked what the error was and she said it did not say what the error was. If you call the IRS and they say there is an error make sure you ask what the error is and have them explain it to you because that is their job.

One thing I seen on the IRS’s Twitter account is that the IRS Database had crashed and a lot of tax returns had to be re-entered into the system to start over and another is the IRS is telling people that there is an error on their tax return’s on the IRS’s end which I think is a bunch of bs because the IRS is telling people different things such as myself because I had to call them yesterday twice and was told that they did not see anything wrong with my tax return and when I called back in the evening I was told there was an error on my tax return on the IRS’s end.
