Turbo Tax tried to do the same thing to but the difference is the had the nerve to tell me when and how much,I said oh yeah thats not happening i called my bank and explained to them the situation and they put turbo tax on hold to my refund comes.Turbo tax got the nerve to try to take my money after i requested them to take it out my refund.Im wirh you,im not dealing with them anymore
Is the IRS actively processing refunds? I filed 3/6/20 and it said expect refund by 3/26.Then it turned to "Still processing" 😔 No stimulus either..Anyone going through this? Or went through it and got your refund and stimulus? Talk about bad timing.. Can anyone help? There is no one to talk to at the IRS. Just machines. Website is probably just as bad as Florida's unemployment system. This is Ludacris
I filed March 6th and "Still processing" as well as no stimulus either.. I don't understand the hold up

I assume you used this IRS tool, and it says your Federal refund is still "being processed?"
Anything requiring any manual review/processing normally creates delays in itself even in normal times. On top of that, a lot of work at the IRS has probably been sidelined/delayed by the Coronavirus situation.
The regular IRS live assistance call centers are closed, but the IRS Taxpayer Advocate Service is still taking phone calls in most states. They are especially prone to help if you have a hardship. They may be able to look up the reason for your delay, and in some instances can help tweak it.
At the following IRS website, find the USA map and click on your state, and it will give you the number of your area's IRS Taxpayer Advocate.

My tax status still says that it's being processed. I filed February 13th. What is this all about. My son, daughter other family members filed the end of march and beginning of April and they've all received their refunds. My refund is directly deposited. Theirs came in the mail. What is going on?

Only the IRS will know what all they are doing with your return, and they've also been impacted by the Coronavirus situation, especially for any duties that require manual review or correspondence. Same thing here. I filed the first day eligible. Still have not received my refund by Turbo Tax wasted no time in taking by $40 directly out of my account. I have asked them for some help in getting my refund but never heard from them. I have used them for years in order to file my taxes. NEVER AGAIN !!!! Thanks for the help Turbo Tax. Going to advise all those I know to never use your service...or disservice...again.
