Turbotax help states the following.
Your TurboTax return for this year hasn't been filed and accepted yet, so you can't amend it. You can continue to make changes to it before you file though
To amend a past return, follow the steps below
1. Select Tax Home from the menu on the far left
2. Scroll down to Your tax returns and documents

What tax year are you trying to amend?   You cannot amend a 2021 return.   Did you make a mistake on a 2021 return that you just e-filed?

Nevermind, the issue was because the website was too eager to get me to start 2021 returns, it took off all other buttons from the homepage. After I started 2021 and entered w2 information, it is giving me the option as described.
