Have the same problem. Seems to be issue with the MAC version from the comments to this.  the save to PDF workaround kind of got me there. I think I have seen some 500 turbotax commercials this week.  If they could make software work and less adds, it would sell its self.

Turbotax charges to E-file return. Could this be the reason printing not available? 

Should not have to do work around.

Similar problem for me on my M1 Mac Mini (16GB Sequoia 15.3.1).  Desktop TurboTax Deluxe.  Can create a PDF for both my Federal and MA returns just fine.  They looked good in preview.  Federal printed completely without a problem.  MA just printed the "File by Mail ..." and Form 1 pages and then just stopped.  Tried printing just the MA Schedule X (just 1 page) and nothing happened.  Tried printing the same page from a 2017 iMac on the same network, still nothing.  Rebooted the iMac into Windows 10 via Bootcamp, pulled up the same PDF file via Edge and printed MA Schedule X just fine.  I was also able to print all the other MA Schedules with the bar codes on top without a problem.

From both Macs I was able to print MA Schedule X from a PDF of my 2023 return without a problem.  Did Intuit change something with how the MA return barcodes are generated between 2023 and 2024?  Same printer used through out a HP Laserjet Pro MFP M148dw.  Weird how the Form 1 pages (with barcodes) printed just fine.

It's mind boggling how long is taking them to fix it, specially when the software is not cheap at all. No acknowledgement or article about. It took a member of the community to share a workaround. I hope their QA for the most critical parts of the software are better.

Was contacted by Turbotax representative yesterday. I mentioned that Turbotax charges to e-file. Representative said that is true. Longer Turbotax waits to fix this print problem more revenue it makes from e-file. Yes, PDF works. Why should customers of Turbotax be required to work around their problem?

Customers need to demand Turbotax (Intuit) fix this issue with free up grade.

I tried your work-around with no success, thanks for posting....BUT - I was able to print my state return by using my FireFox browser as a .PDF reader and printed from within Fire Fox with great results.

*** UPDATING on March 6 2025 with today's new release of TurboTax version 2024.r21.027.   Well The TurboTax Print saga for Mac Desktop continues:  Print is still not fixed for Mac Desktop users. 

Still NO WORKAROUND working on my end.  Impossible to PRINT any tax return !!!! Now this borders on ridiculous.

Asked for a refund almost 2 weeks ago. Have not been contacted by Intuit.

3/7/25 I have turbotax Premier which I have used for over a decade. Tried saving as a PDF and then printing But the information does not line up on my Federal or South Carolina state forms.  The online help is not helpful does anyone have a phone number to contact them
