The only way TT is going to fix this problem is when it starts to hurt them financially -- so ask for a refund due to a defective product.

Same here....
There is no menu bar on my program
That didn't work for me.
@9093 are you using a Windows PC or a Mac?
2017 iMAC
The "Personal Technology" columnist in our local paper (in Silicon Valley) wrote a column in today's edition with glowing review of Turbotax. I thought it might be timely to point him to this discussion group to see that all is not coming up roses.
Here is what I sent to him via email:
Thank you. Well done. Hope this gets to Intuit via this columnist. The silence is deafening from them and ….telling.
Appreciate the post.
Thanks for contacting the journalist. Since I'm not on a Mac, the problem is an equal opportunity problem.
What qualifies as "older" and not supported? And if it's an 'age' thing why is it only impacting the state forms and not fed? And why the message that SC forms are not available to print/save and sign up for notification when they are available? A sign-up that doesn't work. That message seems to imply TT is aware of the problem and just not fixing it or communicating to customers.
It's NOT only "older" versions of Mac, although they seem to have their own special problems. It's also not just State forms. I run Windows 11 on an HP laptop, only a couple of years old. The whole program crashed when I first tried to do the print preview. I had to load Adobe as my pdf viewer before I could get it to work at all, and it's still saving forms in a format that can be iffy when it comes to printing.
It's still not offering users the option to print single forms of any kind, fed or state. Some of us don't need to do that, but that doesn't mean it works for us!
I've tried the TT social media agent (i.e. Facebook) and go the same basic run-around: "they're working on it." I'm quite sure she had no clue what I was even talking about, and that's just the script she has for anything. I've also posted a poor review at Amazon, which is where I purchased TT this year. Probably not a lot of help, but it made me feel a little better.
I did my daughter's federal and Ma state and saved as pdf like normal. I did my moms very basic federal and NY state and I can't save it as pdf or print it. I'm using a MAC, it's about 4 years old but it's updated to latest os. They have to fix this...if you need a copy of your return you can't get one. This is unacceptable.
This does not work! Save is save and save as pdf is save as pdf. Regular save works but that doesn't help if you want to print the document or SAVE AS A PDF
