Go to the intuit turbo tax website go to your account and click on the help button a message icon screen will pop up type in your issue they will write a reply and then ask if that answered your question or not, click that it did not. It should give you an option to speak to a tax specialist. You can choose to have them call you when the next available agent can. Keep your phone close by, and call early in the morning if you’re able. But I’m afraid to say that they will not be of much help. There’s nothing they can do. You’ll need to call TPG and unfortunately even then their answers are incorrect and at this point it sounds like we are all getting the same inaccurate statement that they tried to send it but the bank rejected it. So they have to write a check that takes a month to get. They’re not an honest company and it’s likely they will have a few lawsuits against them this year. I know it’s beyond frustrating and I wish you the best of luck in getting your money!
I need a lawyer, you guys screwed up, and now you're asking me to call tpg because they sent my refund to a wrong account. TPG BY THE WAY WON'T ANSWER PHONE CALLS...OR ANYTHING...IF THIS IS A FORUM AND YOU'RE READING THIS LET ME KNOW IF THERE IS A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST TURBO TAX....my email is [email address removed]
TURBO TAX SUCKS! Thanks for the heads up
In today's (4/18/2021) Washington Post article, 'You agreed to what? Tax sites want your data for mere than filing.' it appears that TurboTax is very convoluted with important information. In my case, I was tricked into having TPG (Tax Products Group) deduct the Turbo Tax Fee and their fee from my Tax Return. I had no idea that this was done until I began to investigate a deposit into my Fidelity account. TurboTax is impossible to reach So is TPG. They're website give absolutely zero help in this matter. I finally had to search online sources for their contact number. Then I was on hold for 1.25hrs. before someone gave me the wepage link to apply for a refund. This page left no space to explain my issue.
So, now TPG, TurboTax, and G-d knows how many others, have my Fidelity account number, and all of my TurboTax filing information.
I asked for a refund. Let's see if I have to take this more public.
Would you be able to share the webpage link they gave you to apply for a refund?
Thanks,
LC
They are still holding mine and telling me they sent me a check apr. 1, 2022.
This is currently happening to me as well. I was on hold for 1 hour with no end in sight. I received $800 less than I was supposed to. Will I also be receiving an email from TurboTax with communication regarding this issue?
I am missing over $2k from my refund. I have tried contacting TPG, as well, TurboTax customer service. If responding to this thread will help get eyes on my refund as well then so be it. I’ve never had an issue and it so sad and frustrating that myself and others have to deal with something like this.
My wife and I are both military and have been filing with turbo taxes over 7 years. I’m missing over $2100. Haven’t received an email. I emailed TPG directly still haven’t heard a reply. Do I have really have to message on the community forum to be noticed?? This is ridiculous. I want the rest of my refund. I don’t have any outstanding “debts” to the IRS. We’ve never had an issue with TurboTax and this is a HUGE issue and a pretty bad one for it being the first. We just want on our return, we are all hard working people who obviously pay taxes and to have that return taken away after we all give so much already!! It’s sad and despicable that we are not getting any reason as to why TPG is taking so much money from our returns.
I'm having the same problem...they withheld MOST of my return. I got a deposit of more than $1000 LESS than I was expecting. This was obviously posted months ago and this is still a problem? Help???
Same here. Impossible to contact a person in TT Customer Support to get an answer.
I received a partial payment from TPG April 27th. I didn’t know if it was from the State or Federal. The number did not match either! My 20 years of filing taxes I’ve never dealt with this kind of bull**bleep**.
They did a great job of tricking the TurboTax users opting into their garbage leech transfer deposit service.
Every year I took my time to make sure I opt out. This year I failed to be careful and I didn’t even realize I’m paying $212 to services. I don’t know what services I received.
Today I’m still checking my bank account and there isn’t any other deposit from the irs or tpg.
Y’all done **bleep**ed up TPG and TT. Y’all **bleep**ed up really bad.
My refund is almost $2,500 short..and the more I read the more people are complaining about the same. At this point, it's looking more like theft than an error. I want my money.

Does the IRS website indicate that you were sent less than what was reported on your federal tax return Form 1040 Line 34? - https://www.irs.gov/refunds
If so, how much less?
You better be REFUNDING
all of us who had money stolen by your service THE FULL AMOUNT. I'm not paying for over $1400 to be stolen.
