Tax return status

Mailed our turbo tax federal return approx March 15, 2020, but have yet to receive refund. Wondering how long to wait before resubmission, this time using tracking #?

DO NOT MAIL AGAIN!  You just have to keep waiting.  They are not processing mailed returns right now.

It says.......

Paper Tax Returns: All taxpayers should file electronically through their tax preparer, tax software provider or IRS Free File if possible. The IRS is not currently able to process individual paper tax returns. If you already have filed via paper but it has not yet been processed, do not file a second tax return or write to the IRS to inquire about the status of your return or your economic impact payment. Paper returns will be processed   once processing centers are able to reopen. This year, more than 90% of taxpayers have filed electronically

The IRS stopped processing returns for some time and may not be processing mailed returns yet. It would do no good to mail another return. Mailed returns are all sitting in a stack waiting to be processed when the IRS starts processing them again.

Hmmm, that says they are also taking fax? We seen a couple questions on faxing.
