My tax return was rejected because of 1095 A My exhusband has them on his health plan but I claim the kids why am I having to show info on this
You'll need to sign in or create an account to connect with an expert.
You MUST enter the 1095-A on your return because your kids are on the policy however you can also allocate zero of the premium credit to you ... so simply comply with the IRS request and refile the return successfully.
FYI ... between your return and the other parent's return the premium credit can be allocated any way you can agree on as long as the total between the 2 returns equals 100%. So 0/100 , 50/50 , 60/40 or any other percentage combination ... working together to get the biggest credit between both returns is highly recommended.
do I need to send the form attached as I am efiling
No ... nothing is attached when you efile.
