When I did my taxes with Turbo online they asked if I wanted my tax refund on a card I answered yes my questions are how do I know when the tax refund card is on its way and is the tax refund card the Inuit turbo Visa card ? Or is it a whole different card ? I’m confused because when filing they asked if I wanted it on a tax refund card and I answered yes but I see that I’ve got a Inuit turbo Visa card being printed so I don’t know if that’s the card my tax refund will be put on or if it’s a different card that will come in the mail that will have the tax refund on it my tax refund has already been accepted by the IRS just waiting on the tax refund and the card trying to figure out which card will have the refund on it and how to find out when it’s on the way in the mail thank you

I am in the same boat and turbo tax said I was approved for a 250 advanced towards my federal refund and said once it was accepted by the IRS I would get the deposit for the advanced. When will I get the advanced?

I received a Netspend Card and a Inuit Turbo VISA Card in the mail today I activated both but I’m confused to which one the tax refund will come on I’ve already got my federal taxes accepted by the IRS in just trying to figure out why I got two cards and which one the tax refund will be on once they send it

I believe it's a nationwide rule of thumb that tax returns are not being accepted until Jan 27th and up until 21 days after being accepted

Wrong, mine were accepted on the 14th. A lot of early e filers may get accepted early to test their systems.

How come I wasn't asked if I wanted a advance? Can anyone tell me how why i wasn't offered and advance?? Is there still away to get and advance even tho i filed already??

One year the same thing happened to me & they sent me a new card to use. That may not be the same situation so HOLD ON TO YOUR OLD one! Good Luck

Once your advance is approved it can take up to 48hrs for the advance to become available to you. TurboTax will send you an email with instructions on how to set up your Turbo tax Account and start spending your advance online. It can take 5-10 days to get the physical Turbo tax Visa card.

You can only get the Refund Advance on a new Turbo Visa Debit Card. If you received a Turbo Prepaid Card last year, you’ll need to create a new account and receive a new card to receive your Refund Advance funds for this year. You won’t see the funds if you log in with the account you made last year. Please see this FAQ About receiving your Refund Advance for additional information.

If you did request your refund to be sent to a card, it would be the Turbo Visa. These cards are usually issued within 21 days of your return being accepted. It stated on mine that because I applied for the refund advance that i will get the turbo visa card and get my refund advance on there and then when my taxes come after I pay turbo tax the refund advance back the rest of my taxes will go on the turbo visa card and if I wouldn't have applied for the refund advance and didnt want to do check or direct deposit to my bank account I would have got the netspend card. Hope that helps because that's what it stated to me when I filed and did everything online

For my very first year fileing taxes I choose the turbotax intuit Visa card. Even though they sent me an email for verification of what they put as another card, it was really the turbotax Visa card. Once I got that card in the mail, I had to activate it following the instructions and once it was activated both my state and my federal were on there.
