Please help, I filed my 2020 taxes but I never got my stimulus checks, someone told me I had to claim I didn’t receive a stimulus check last year but I never got that option to answer, will I still be able to claim my sinuous check, or the rebate credit since this is my first time filing my taxes?

The stimulus questions are asked in the Federal Review section of the TurboTax program.  Any payment you were eligible to receive based on the 2020 Federal tax return but did not receive will be entered on the Federal tax return, Form 1040 Line 30 as a tax credit.  The credit is included in the federal tax refund or it will reduce the amount of federal taxes owed.

I never saw the line to enter it, I’m sorry if I seem dim witted but do I have to enter it or is it automatically entered and the IRS knows?

If I did not file my 2020 taxes yet will I still get my stimulus check.

@SBethea09 You will likely receive a stimulus check if you filed a tax return in 2018 or 2019. You can file a 2020 tax return if you want even though you aren't required to if you don't receive your stimulus check.
