Refund tracker finally updated and my refund says approved. It should be direct deposited on May 8th. I filed on Feb 10th. Fingers crossed. I won’t believe it until it’s in my account. Hopefully everyone gets theirs in the next week or so
This gives me hope, thank you!
Day 87. Still no refund. Still no change to my "where's my refund" status. Still no change on my transcript which still states "no file returned".
Beyond infuriating at this point.
Omg! I'm in the same place! I filled February 2nd. I don't have time to wait 2 hours to call them either! So frustrating.
Filed. Lol not filled
You definitely have to call, I finally did yesterday it’s like they were sent to the black hole! They have to option to call you back so you actually don’t have to wait on the phone. Took 21 min yesterday morning. I followed these directions to get someone.
I don't see how this is legal. How can IRS keep tax returns this long with no correspondence to the tax payer? I'm on day 83. I have called numerous times. I filed a SAMS. I filed for an advocate. I've called more. I'm just told to wait longer. I've asked for error code and im given none. Every time i call i get a different answer. Seems like an attorney is the only way to get any answers at this point.
I'm in the same boat. Was accepted in February but still haven't received anything.
It’s finally pending deposit tomorrow in my account! Good luck all
exactly same has happened to me. And still no update or return 3 months later

Call the IRS: 1-800-829-1040 hours 7 AM - 7 PM local time Monday-Friday
When calling the IRS do NOT choose the first option re: "Refund", or it will send you to an automated phone line.
So after first choosing your language, then do NOT choose Option 1 (refund info). Choose option 2 for "personal income tax" instead.
Then press 1 for "form, tax history, or payment".
Then press 3 "for all other questions."
Then press 2 "for all other questions."
- When it asks you to enter your SSN or EIN to access your account information, don't enter anything.
- After it asks twice, you will get another menu.
Press 2 for personal or individual tax questions.
Then press 3 for all other inquiries
It should then transfer you to an agent.
Same for me. Filed with IRS early February. State was accepted and paid the same month. IRS website still says “Return Received” as of a few minutes ago. Looking at 3 months now. After reading all these comments, it makes me a little more comfortable that nothing is wrong. And maybe the interest after 45 days from April 15 might be their internal deadline. I guess we’ll all know come June 1.
Same exact thing. Accepted Feb. 10, but nothing has happened since. Called and was told I was in the Error and Resolution Department. Was told April 22 that a referral was being submitted regarding my return. That has resulted in nothing.
Called my congressman, and was told they wouldn't even do anything until 30 days AFTER April 15.
Beyond frustrated. And like many of you, I need the rebate to apply to my solar loan so it will reamortize.
Finally, I'm getting my refund! I guess my transcripts updated overnight after waiting 12 weeks and 2 days, numerous calls to the IRS and even reaching out to my congressman. Filed/accepted Feb 12th and this nightmare is scheduled to end May 10th.
Congrats. Still waiting on mine since 2/12. Did all the calling ( last time was 4/29 and they said 30 days). No transcript or update for me.
